The autoimmune thyroid disease (AITDs) comprises two clinical phenotype, GravesÂ’ disease (GD) and autoimmune hypothyroidism (AIH), which include goitrous [Hashimoto thyroiditis (HT)] and non goitrous forms [Primary idiopathic myxoedema (PIM)].
