Introduction: Maternal thyroid disorders influence neonatal thyroid status. Neonatal thyrotoxicosis (NT) is a potentially fatal condition with high risk in those with clinical signs, high or unknown maternal thyroid receptor antibody (TRAb) status and where mother is clinically hyperthyroid or on treatment.
