Endocrine dysfunction in anorexia nervosa

Anorexia nervosa is a common psychiatric disease, with a prevalence of 1–2% of college-aged women, characterized by chronic starvation. Nutritional deprivation is complicated by serious and multi-axis endocrine dysregulation.
