Context: Several studies have shown that Trabecular Bone Score (TBS) predicts fractures independently of Bone Mineral Density (BMD) measured with Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA), even in patients with Primary Hyperparathyroidism (PHPT), known to have deteriorated bone microarchitecture.
