Introduction: Islet cells within the pancreas regulate blood glucose through the production of certain hormones, including insulin. Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (PNETs) are rare tumours arising from these cells. They are classified as non-functioning (NF-PNET) or functioning (F-PNET).
