History: 72 yr. Female, Initially presented to A&E with new confusion and speech disturbance. NEWS of 7- RR 22, sats- 98% on RA, BP 162/107, HR-124, and T- 37. AMTS- 7/10. Case: 60yr old male presented to his GP with symptoms of polydipsia, polyuria, reduced appetite and weight loss of about 1 stone over 6-7 weeks. Routine bloods showed abnormal blood film with left shift in neutrophils, moderate thrombocytopenia (61), basophilia and occasional blasts (1%).
