Introduction: Differentiated thyroid carcinoma is the most common pediatric endocrine malignancy (0.53% of all childhood malignancies) with papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) being the most common type. Children have higher rates of cervical lymph node metastases, distant metastasis and recurrence.
