Objective: Transsphenoidal surgery (TSS) presents the treatment of choice for Cushings disease (CD), 95% microadenomas. Remission and recurrence rates vary dependent on tumor size, extension, adenoma visibility on magnetic resonance imaging, and neurosurgical expertise.
