Background: Medullary thyroid cancer is a rare neuroendocrine neoplasm that can secrete variety of hormones, including ACTH. Cushing syndrome due to ectopic ACTH secretion is a rare complication of medullary thyroid cancer, usually accociated with metastatic disease.
