Background: Somatostatin receptors (SSTR) is overexpressed in a number of different tumors, including GI Neuroendocrine Tumors (GI-NET), Pheochromocytoma/Paraganglioma (PPGL), small cell lung cancer (SCLC), renal cell carcinoma (RCC), and certain head and neck cancers (H&N) such as olfactory neuroblastoma.
