The prevalence of Metabolic Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) is approximately 55% in patients with Type 2 diabetes (T2DM). The EASL-EASD-EASO guidelines recommend screening patients with T2DM for MASLD. Fibrosis-4 Index (FIB-4) is a simple tool used to screen for MASLD in T2DM. Limited data are available on the effect of transsphenoidal surgery using the endoscopic method on pituitary function.
