A 44 yr old IT systems analyst, presented in 2003 with a six month history of weight gain, diabetes and hypertension. On examination he was floridly Cushingoid. Clinical case: 24-year-old student nurse referred to the liver unit with a 6-month history of pyrexia, cognitive dysfunction and abnormal liver function tests.
