Although amyloid deposition can cause a goitre thyrotoxicosis secondary to amyloidosis is rare. We report a case of fatal systemic amyloidosis presenting as thyrotoxicosis.A 62-year-old previously healthy male presented with heat intolerance, weight loss and tremor.
