Insulin Pump Therapy: What is the Evidence?

Introduction: Intensive insulin treatment regimens, multiple daily injections (MDI) and continuous subcutaneous insulin infusions (CSII) are used widely in the NHS, despite a lack of evidence that more expensive treatment with CSII is superior to MDI.
