‘MedComms’ involves the creation of content based on medical and scientific data to educate a wide-ranging audience on mechanisms of disease and mechanisms of action. Medical animation is a tool used in MedComms that intertwines the worlds of science, art and technology, to produce impactful scientific imagery, stories and interactive experiences. Scientists work closely with artists, animators and programmers, who collaborate to bring to life the complex workings of the body at the molecular level, which can be used to form the foundations of pharmaceutical marketing campaigns, educational pieces, or even produced for documentaries on the big screen.
