Background: Primary Adrenal Insufficiency (PAI) is a rare life-threatening disorder. Data on etiology and outcome of PAI in childhood are scanty, with the exception of Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) due to 21-hydroxylase deficiency (21OHD).
